Prof. Dr. Martien Kas (RUG) is the project coordinator of PRISM 2. The project coordinator in collaboration with the project leader (Dr. Hugh Marston, BI) is responsible for the overall scientific progress of the project, the quality of the results, and the timely submission of all required documents and reports to the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking (IMI2 JU).
Dr. Hugh Marston (BI) is the project leader of PRISM 2. The project leader in collaboration with the project coordinator is responsible for the overall scientific progress of the project and oversees the scientific governance.
The project management office (PMO) consists of the project coordinator, the project leader, and concentris research management (concentris). The PMO is the central node of communication for PRISM 2. The primary point of contact is concentris in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany, whereas the project coordinator resides in Groningen, The Netherlands (RUG), and the project leader in Ingelheim (Headquarters) / Biberach (CNS Research Site), Germany (BI). The project coordinator and project leader are mainly dealing with the scientific oversight, while concentris takes care of the administrative, financial, and contractual management as well as other managerial tasks.
The coordination team (COOR Team) advises the project coordinator and project leader on the strategic direction of the project and also supports them in the day-to-day monitoring of the scientific implementation and progress of PRISM 2. The COOR Team consists of the project coordinator (Prof. Dr. Martien Kas, RUG), the project leader (Dr. Hugh Marston, BI), the project manager (Juliane Dittrich, concentris), and Prof. Dr. Brenda Pennix (VUMC) as representative of a public body, Prof. Dr. Bastian Hengerer (BI) as representative of EFPIA, and Dr. Magali Haas as representative of an associated partner (CVB).
